“We have seven children. They have different needs, likes, desires, wants, activities.”
Frances Anderson realized the moment she had her first child that she was not going back to work. She and her husband Duante decided together to let go of some things to make that work. In order to provide their kids with the best quality education, they chose homeschooling.
“We have seven children. They have different needs, likes, desires, wants, activities. The beauty (of home schooling) is that you get to know your children. Homeschooling allows you the opportunity to design a curriculum around that child, around their passion, and around what their future goals are.”
Like many families involved in FII, the Andersons involve their children in the monthly journal. They set individual and collective goals for the future of their family.
